Since founded in 1997, Leadshine has been in the business of designing and manufacturing general purpose motion controllers used by various industries at excellent performance and competitive costs. Those motion controllers are available in 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 axe with the options of PC-based, PC104, standalone. Supported programming languages include Leadshine Basic, G code, VB, C++, VC++, .NET, and LabView. Their communication bus options include RS232, CANopen, and Ethernet. With excellent performance and very competitive prices, more than 100,000 Leadshine motion controllers have been installed in hundreds of stepper and servo systems in tens of industries like electronics, medical, semiconductor, CNC machinery, etc.

Leadshine's PC-based (PCI and PC104 available) motion controllers are avaliable from single axis to 12 axes. By using one ASIC microcomputer, Leadshine's controllers provide high speed performance and can handle many modes of motion such as point-to-point positioning, jogging, linear and circular interpolation, continuous interpolation and helix interpolation. The users to develop their own application software with VB / VC/ C++   Builder / LabVIEW  in Window95/98/2000/NT/XP/7.

The SMC series motion controllers are Leadshine's high performance, stand-alone motion controllers. They use 32-bit RISC and offer 1 to 4 axes motion control for stepper motors or servo motors to accomplish various operations such as point-to-point positioning, jogging, linear and circular interpolation, etc. These controllers can operate stand-alone or support multiple master and slaves, or interface to a PC with an USB interface or USB flash disk. Ethernet motion controller available, support G code or BASIC programming.

Leadshine ENC7480 / ENC7480-IO PCI encoder counter cards are plug-and-play boards that provide digital inputs & outputs and decoding for up to four incremental quadrature encoders or linear scales. The ENC7480-IO has 32 general inputs and 32 general outputs. Incremental quadrature encoders and linear scales are used to provide feedback signals from motors and actuators, that is, to count rotations or linear movements and convert the physical movement into a series of electrical signals. With the ENC7480/ENC7480-IO, the user can get the IO, encoder or linear scale signals easily on a PC with Visual Basic, Visual C, LabVIEW, etc.
